In Key Stage 3 students have the opportunity to participate in some of the following activities.

All students in Year 9 complete the Sports Leaders UK ‘Young Leader Award’.
In Key Stage 4 students have a different variety of activities, having the opportunities to participate in some of the following and in Year 11 make her own selections of activities:

Accredited Courses Offered at KS4 in PE at WGSG
BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport
Students are able to follow the BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport at WGSG. Students can opt to take this subject when selecting their options in Year 9.
The PE department will be welcoming their 3rd successful cohort to undertake this popular course.

BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Sport
The BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is available for students entering the 6th Form at WGSG.
