Community

WGSG has excellent links to the community of Wilmington and the surrounding area. We are part of the Wilmington Hextable Swanley Partnership, which is a collaboration of six local secondary schools and the FE College, working together to maximise choice, opportunities and success for their students. The schools have aligned their timetable arrangements to enable students to access the wide offer of courses across the Partnership.

As well as our local links, we also have excellent links to the international community. Several of our girls recently went to Thailand to assist in building a medical centre as part of a school. The project also involved teaching English lessons to Burmese Shan children aged 6 to 14 years of age. This project is linked to St Christopher's School in Bahrain, and it is the intention to keep both links as an annual global community project.
